None of what I said I would do last week actually happened. That’s not true – I shouldn’t be so hard on myself. I managed to go to my regular Saturday class at Bikram Yoga East Harlem AND I did a double on Sunday. But the rest of the week was a wash due to a combination of my knee hurting me, my having a slight cold, and a return of my odd fear of new things.
So this week, I am going to do what I said I would do last week, but with some extra planning to make sure I get it done! Monday is my free day – extra welcome this week as a result of the double class I did yesterday. And it’s the boss man’s one day in the office so, done.
Tuesday through Friday I’m going to take classes at YogaWorks. I think the lunch time class each day should work. Ha – pun! They are Vinyasa classes – I feel certain that they will help me rehab my knee and reverse an unattractive path I have taken with regards to the scale. Not cute.
And then Saturday and Sunday I am back to my usual BYEH classes. Hurray for consistency!
The photo is of my daughter from this summer. It is there to remind me and all of you that sometimes it’s nice to take a little detour (in this case, through the Union Square Farmer’s Market). You never know what you might see.
