This week was OK – I managed to get in some yoga before work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I skipped both scheduled Flywheel classes (that time of the month). But yesterday I went to an all-day yogi camp at Yoga Vida and today I went to Bikram Yoga East Harlem – it’s raining in NYC so the class was small, which was totally fine by me. I have also been keeping up on the 30-day posture challenge I joined on Instagram. Could have been better, could have been worse.
I have to keep reminding myself that I don’t have work tomorrow and my daughter doesn’t have to go to school. With that in mind, I’ll go to BYEH tomorrow. Always nice to get another Bikram class in. For the rest of the week, I’m going to take as many classes as possible at Yoga Vida. The yogi day camp came with a free month of classes and my boss is working from our London office. So hopefully the two things will come together nicely and allow me to get my yoga on.
I am signed up for a basics class on Tuesday – so nice to really focus on alignment and breath. Wednesday I’m going to a lunchtime flow class and Thursday I have a 6PM flow class lined up. Should be nice. Saturday and Sunday will most likely find me at BYEH once again. Yoga heavy week – excited! Hopefully I will be nice and loose and able to get in to the 30-day yoga challenge postures. Dang some of them are hard!
In yogi day camp, we talked a lot about Iyengar Yoga – there is a studio not far from my office so maybe I’ll skip a day at Yoga Vida and go there instead – but you know I get super nervous about going to new studios so I’m going to avoid setting myself up to fail. If I go, great – if not, it’s OK.
Happy (rainy) Sunday. Namaste.
