When I was first nominated for the Leibster Award, I really had no idea what it was. I wondered how my humble little blog could have been nominated for anything. Thanks to “The Google” I learned that it was something given from one blogger to another. How lovely. The same is true here as Audrey the DIY Queen was kind enough to nominate me for the Sunshine Award. Yes, these “awards” are kind of like chain letters but without the threat of anything bad happening should you break the chain. Still, a little game of getting to know you never hurt anyone! So here we go..

Questions from Audrey the DIY Queen:
What is your favorite quote?
I can’t say I have one. But you can always count on Winston Churchill for something good: “I am prepared to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.”
Do you have any pets?
Not now, no. But over the course of my life I have had dogs, fish, turtles, frogs and one ferret – her name was Charlie and she was the best!
What was the reason you started blogging?
I have been considering yoga teacher training. This is me dipping my toe in the water of putting my voice out there. I am actually quite shy.
Do you enjoy blogging?
I do – I love that people enjoy reading my blog. I like that I have “met” like minded people. And that, every once in a while, someone tells me that I inspired them to take up yoga or some other healthy habit. More often than not though, people tell me that I inspired them to eat a doughnut. That’s OK too!
What is the reason behind your blogging name?
I wanted to show people that balance was possible. That you could love yoga and doughnuts – not have to give up one for the other.
Is there anything you have “always wanted to do?” What is holding you back?
If you could live anywhere, where would that be?
What is the last book you read?
What made you start your blog?
What is your favorite stress reliever?
To those who I nominated, please don’t feel any obligation to participate. I fully understand that some may not want to. Or it may not go with the vibe of your blog. No worries!
